OpenAI CEO Sam Altman contradicted xAI CEO Elon Musk's prediction that money won't matter in another 10 years, as "civilisation will either be gone or AI/robotics will eliminate scarcity". "Clearly, I think money will still matter," Altman said. "I think [AI] will make a lot of things much cheaper...But I think...it won't just magically solve wealth inequality," he predicted.
