Aman Gupta's charging cable broke which led him to build boAt, a billion-dollar firm! A former Director with JBL, he was motivated to do something new and started out with Sameer Mehta in 2016 with a seed of INR 30 lakh. This was at a time when the market had major Chinese competitors, with no VC backing them up.
