Amara Raja ends 22-year partnership with Johnson Controls

Amara Raja Batteries has announced it has terminated its 22-year partnership with Johnson Controls. This comes after the US auto parts maker decided to sell its power solutions business globally. Consequently, it sold 2% from the 26% stake it held in Amara Raja to Galla Family, promoters of the battery-maker, and terminated shareholder and technology pacts with the company.
