Amazon accused of hiring some people just to fire them later; company denies

A Business Insider report claimed that some Amazon managers hired some people just to fire them later to meet their internal turnover goals. The managers said that they followed the practice under pressure to meet the annual goal, known as unregretted attrition (URA). An Amazon spokesperson denied the allegations that the company hires employees with the intention of firing them.
