AI startup founded by inventor behind Amazon Alexa raises $20 million

UK-based Unlikely AI, a startup founded by the inventor of several key technologies used by Amazon's Alexa, William Tunstall-Pedoe, has raised $20 million. Tunstall-Pedoe helped develop the technology used by Amazon Echo devices at Evi, a British startup that Amazon acquired in 2012. Amadeus Capital Partners and Patrick Pichette, the former Google CFO, are among the backers of Unlikely AI.
