Amazon Board member Tom Alberg to step down after 22 years
Tom Alberg, who has been on Amazon's Board of Directors for over 22 years, informed the company on April 5 that he wouldn't stand for re-election at annual meeting. Addressing his impending exit, the company's Founder Jeff Bezos tweeted, "I’ll miss his sound judgement...his quick wit". Alberg will reportedly continue working as MD at venture capital firm Madrona Venture Group.
