Amazon cuts paid COVID-19 leave time for US workers to 40 hours

Amazon workers in US who test COVID-19 positive or have to quarantine after exposure to virus will be eligible for up to 40 hours of paid leave, instead of 10 days. Further, employees can come to work after isolating for a week after testing COVID-19 positive, Amazon said. The policy change comes after the US CDC updated its health guidance.
