Amazon, Flipkart causing GST revenue losses to govt: CAIT

Traders' body CAIT has accused Amazon and Flipkart of causing goods and services tax (GST) revenue losses to the central and state governments by offering deep discounts on products. Writing to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, CAIT said the e-commerce platforms sell products below the market value and urged her to recover the GST difference between billed prices and market value.
