Amazon food arm gets govt nod to sell on India site: Reports

Amazon's food retail arm Amazon Retail has reportedly received government clearance to continue to sell on its India website. Earlier on January 4, the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion had said, "[T]here is no change in the FDI policy on food product retail trading...including through e-commerce". Amazon Pantry has reportedly started selling a few items on its website.
