Amazon gets notice for not selling Kannada books on Kindle

The Kannada Development Authority (KDA) has issued a notice to Amazon India for refusing to sell Kannada language books on its Kindle platform. The KDA has also said that it expects the company to implement Kannada language rules during its daily functioning in Bengaluru office to promote Kannada. It further sought details of employees working at Amazon office in Bengaluru.
