Amazon inks 60-day exclusivity deal for BigBasket buyout

Online grocer BigBasket has entered into a 60-day exclusivity agreement with retail giant Amazon after a period of discussions between the two over a potential acquisition by the latter, according to reports. The agreement mandates that Amazon will be the sole contender to acquire BigBasket for a two month period. BigBasket, however, is free to look out for financial investments.
