Amazon may have to sell Cloudtail stake after India's new rules

After the government revised the FDI policy in e-commerce sector, Amazon may have to sell its stake in Cloudtail, which is a large seller on Amazon's marketplace platform. The new norms bar online retailers from selling products of entities in which they own a stake. Cloudtail is a joint venture between Amazon and Infosys Founder Narayana Murthy's Catamaran Ventures.
