Amazon may spend $7 billion to acquire 3-yr old AI startup: Report

Amazon is reportedly negotiating to acquire AI startup Decart, founded in 2023, for around $7 billion. Decart develops software that helps AI models run across different chips, alongside video and virtual-world generation models. The acquisition could strengthen Amazon Web Services' Trainium chip business by making it easier for developers to move workloads away from Nvidia hardware.
