Amazon pauses construction of second HQ in Virginia

Amazon said it's pausing construction of parts of 'HQ2', its second headquarters in Virginia's Arlington. As per the company, the decision will impact 'PenPlace', which would include three, 22-story office towers and a 350-foot-tall spiral-shaped conference centre. Meanwhile, the first phase of the campus, called 'Metropolitan Park', is expected to open in June and will house 8,000 workers.
