Amazon pauses expansion of Fresh grocery stores to review business

Amazon CEO Andy Jassy said during the company's quarterly results call that Amazon has paused the expansion of its physical Amazon Fresh grocery stores. The expansion will remain paused till Amazon finds a distinctive store format with a favourable economic value, Jassy said. "We're optimistic that we're going to find that in 2023," he added.
