Amazon pauses hiring in corporate workforce for the next few months

Amazon is pausing corporate workforce hiring as the e-commerce firm deals with an "unusual macro-economic environment", Beth Galetti, Senior Vice-president of People Experience and Technology, said. "We anticipate keeping this pause in place for the next few months...will continue to monitor what we're seeing in the economy and the business to adjust as we think makes sense," she added.
