Amazon planning to launch smartphone with Alexa, over a decade after Fire Phone disaster

Amazon is working on launching a smartphone, known internally as "Transformer", Reuters reported. The phone will have Alexa as its core feature, will make using Amazon apps (including Amazon.com, Prime Video and Prime Music) easier, and will integrate AI capabilities that could eliminate the need for traditional app stores. This comes 12 years after Amazon's first smartphone Fire Phone's disaster.
