Amazon plans to invest $1 bn a year to make movies for theatres: Report

Amazon is planning to invest more than $1 billion a year to make movies for theatres, Bloomberg reported. The company aims to produce between 12 and 15 films annually for theatrical release, the report added. The world's largest e-commerce firm will reportedly release a small number of movies in cinemas next year and increase its output over time.
