Amazon plans to use AI in film, TV production to reduce high costs

Amazon MGM Studio's entertainment executive, Albert Cheng, will be leading a team to develop AI tools to streamline production and cut costs, reported Reuters. Cheng said, "The cost of creating is so high that it's hard to make more." However, he clarified, "We fundamentally believe that AI can accelerate, but won't replace, the innovation...that (humans) bring to create the work."
