Amazon removes 'Ram Mandir prasad' sweets after govt issues notice

Amazon has removed sweets listed as 'Shri Ram Mandir Ayodhya Prasad' from its platform after the government issued a notice to the e-marketplace. The Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) had issued the notice for products using false representations to mislead consumers. Amazon noted that it is a third-party marketplace, where retailers, and not Amazon, list and sell products.
