Amazon sells toilet covers with Islam's holy text, criticised

Amazon has stopped the sale of a series of items including toilet covers, doormats and bathmats bearing verses from the Quran after it faced a backlash from the Islamic community. The items were first flagged to the online retailer by the Council on American-Islamic Relations, a Muslim advocacy group. Amazon warned sellers of action against non-removal of the offensive products.
