Amazon shares rise 3% after $25 billion Anthropic deal

Amazon shares rose 3% to day's high of $255 on Tuesday after the e-commerce platform announced a $25 billion investment in Anthropic as part of a deal to build AI infrastructure. The investment is in addition to the $8 billion Amazon had previously invested in the AI startup. Anthropic will, in return, spend over $100 billion on Amazon's cloud infrastructure.
