Amazon starts testing humanoid robots in US warehouses

Amazon announced it has started testing humanoid robots in US warehouses to perform highly repetitive tasks and free up employees for other work. The company is testing a two-legged robot named Digit that can move, grasp and lift items. The robot, made by Amazon-backed Agility Robotics, is being initially used for tote recycling.
