Amazon to be fined $108,000 for every non-essential item it delivers in France
Amazon has lost an appeal after a French court ruling prohibited the e-commerce firm from delivering non-essential items in France during COVID-19. The Versailles Court of Appeals said Amazon would be fined around $108,000 for every non-essential item it delivers. The court upheld a ruling that had caused Amazon to close all six warehouses in France for a week.
