Amazon to hire 1.6 lakh seasonal workers ahead of festive season

Amazon India has created more than 1.6 lakh seasonal work opportunities across 400 cities ahead of the 2026 festive season. The workforce will support picking, packing, shipping and delivery operations, with opportunities extending to Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. Amazon is also focusing on inclusive hiring, including opportunities for women and persons with disabilities.
