Amazon to invest $5 bn to boost cloud infrastructure in Thailand

Amazon's cloud computing division Amazon Web Services (AWS) on Monday said it plans to invest over $5 billion in Thailand to boost the cloud infrastructure in the country. The investment will be made over a period of 15 years. The company will build data centers as well as an infrastructure hub to let its customers in Thailand store data locally.
