Amazon to invest $12.7 billion in India's cloud, AI infra by 2030

Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced a $12.7-billion investment in India, to boost the country's cloud and AI infrastructure by 2030. India is among a select group of countries where AWS operates multiple regions, with Mumbai and Hyderabad regions fully scaled, AWS VC Prasad Kalyanaraman said. He added that AWS has trained over 7 million people in India in cloud skills.
