Amazon to invest $500 mn to build small nuclear reactors in US

Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced plans to invest over $500 million in nuclear power projects in US. It signed agreement with Dominion Energy to explore possibility of building small modular nuclear reactors (SMR). "We see need for gigawatts of power in coming years, and there's not going to be enough wind and solar projects," AWS CEO Matt Garman told CNBC.
