Amazon to open store with no cashiers in London, its first outside US

Amazon on Thursday said it is opening a cashier-less convenience store in the UK, marking its first use of its automated checkout technology outside the US. The proposed 2,500-square foot Amazon Fresh store in London will use cameras and sensors to track shoppers as they pull items off the shelves and charge a credit card on file after they exit.
