Amazon to raise over 5 lakh workers' pay by up to $3 per hour

Amazon has said that the company will increase the pay of more than 5 lakh workers by at least 50 cents and up to $3 an hour. The move is expected to cost an investment of over $1 billion in incremental pay, Amazon added. The company further said it is hiring for tens of thousands of jobs across the US.
