Amazon's cloud unit plans to hire in 2023, build more data centres

Amazon Web Services (AWS), the company's cloud unit, is planning to add employees in 2023 and keep building data centres. "Our business is still growing rapidly," a senior executive told Bloomberg. The hiring plan comes as Amazon this month announced 10,000 job cuts and instituted hiring curbs across corporate groups. It also recently shut down three business units in India.
