Amazon's website down for thousands of users in the US

Amazon.com was down for thousands of users in the United States on Wednesday, outage tracking website Downdetector.com showed. Nearly 12,000 users reported issues with accessing the e-commerce platform as of 10 am ET. The outage was also reported at Amazon's cloud services unit Amazon Web Services but fewer than 300 reported the issue, according to Downdetector.
