Amazon's Zoox robotaxi drives people on public roads for 1st time

Amazon-owned autonomous driving startup Zoox's robotaxi, which features no steering wheel or pedals, carried passengers on public roads for the first time. In the test conducted on Saturday, the robotaxi carried Zoox employees on a one-mile public route between two office buildings in California. The company will start running the robotaxis as a shuttle service for its employees this spring.
