Ambani loses title of Asia's richest person to China's Zhong Shanshan

China's Zhong Shanshan, who founded the country's largest bottled water company Nongfu Spring, has eclipsed Mukesh Ambani to become Asia's richest person. The 66-year-old's net worth has surged by $70.9 billion this year to $77.8 billion, according to Bloomberg. Nongfu shares have jumped 155% since their debut in September. Ambani is worth $76.9 billion, after gaining $18.3 billion in 2020.
