Ambulance service suspended in parts of Sri Lanka amid fuel crisis
Amid fuel shortages in crisis-hit Sri Lanka, emergency ambulance service has been suspended in several parts of the country. Suwa Seriya Ambulance Service has urged citizens to refrain from calling emergency helpline number 1990 in the affected regions, which include Galle and Hambantota. Sri Lankan Power Minister Kanchana Wijesekera has said that fuel supplies can be expected in few days.
