American Idol runner-up Willie Spence dies in car accident aged 23

Singer Willie Spence, who finished runner-up in 19th season of American Idol, passed away in a car accident aged 23. Willie was in Tennessee at the time of the accident. "Life's so unfair and nothing is ever promised...God rest your soul Willie. It was a pleasure to sing with you and to know you," singer Katharine McPhee wrote on Instagram.
