Americans weren't ready for my natural hair: Ex-First Lady Michelle Obama

Former First Lady Michelle Obama has said that Americans "weren't ready" for her natural hair when her husband Barack Obama was elected as the President. Michelle added that she'd straightened her hair so that the public could get accustomed to having a Black family in the White House. She made these comments while promoting her new book in Washington DC.
