AMFI may urge govt to restore indexation benefit for MFs: Report

The Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) could again urge the government to bring back the indexation benefit for the mutual fund industry, Moneycontrol reported. This comes after the government moved an amendment to restore the indexation benefit for properties acquired before July 23. An AMFI board member said mutual funds "don't have a strong lobby" like real estate.
