Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority said all five container terminals are functioning smoothly without congestion and handling around 22,000 TEUs daily. It attributed delays in container evacuation to shortages of trailers and drivers arranged by CFSs and Customs Brokers, not terminal inefficiency. JNPA is also facilitating rail movement and arranging trains to improve driver availability.
