Amid rebellions in Opp'n parties, NDA inches towards 2/3rd majority needed for Delimitation

Amid reported rebellions in several Opposition parties, NDA's Lok Sabha tally of 293 could rise close to the two-thirds mark (362), helping it pass the Delimitation Bill. Defections by 20 TMC MPs, six Shiv Sena (UBT) MPs and SP MPs would increase its strength. There are also reports that the BJP is in talks with DMK, which has 22 MPs.
