Amit Shah announces 'smart border' project along Pak, Bangladesh

Home Minister Amit Shah announced the government will launch a tech-enabled "smart border" project along the 6,000-km front with Pakistan and Bangladesh by next year to make the frontiers impenetrable. The project aims to build a "strong security grid" aided by drones, radars and smart cameras to ensure that the "conspiracy" to change the country's demography is defeated, he added.
