Amit Shah appointed BJP's observer to select West Bengal CM

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has been appointed as the Central Observer for the selection of the West Bengal Chief Minister, a day after the party won 207 seats in the state Assembly elections. Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has been appointed as the Central Co-Observer. BJP's Suvendu Adhikari, who defeated Mamata Banerjee, is one of the CM contenders.
