Amit Shah defends Maya Kodnani in Gujarat riots case

Amit Shah on Monday appeared before the Special Investigation Team court as former Gujarat minister Maya Kodnani's witness in the 2002 Gujarat riots case. Shah defended Kodnani in court, saying that the prime accused was with him in the state Assembly when the riots took place in Ahmedabad's Naroda Gam. Notably, around 11 people were massacred in Naroda Gam riots.
