Amit Shah introduces Bills to remove PM, CMs in jail for 30 days without conviction

Home Minister Amit Shah has introduced Constitution (130th Amendment) Bill, 2025, which provides for removal of PMs, CMs and ministers arrested and detained for at least 30 days. The Bill proposes that conviction is not important for their removal. Two similar Bills for J&K and other Union Territories were also tabled by him in the Lok Sabha.
