Amit Shah wins Gandhinagar Lok Sabha seat by over 7 lakh votes

Union Home Minister Amit Shah won Gujarat's Gandhinagar Lok Sabha seat with a margin of over 7 lakh votes, Election Commission data showed. Shah has garnered over 10 lakh votes while, Congress' Sonal Patel got 2.66 lakh votes. Shah, the sitting MP from Gandhinagar, won the seat for the first time in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
