Amit Shah to chair Mahanadi dispute meet between Odisha, Chhattisgarh CMs

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will chair a meeting between the chief ministers of Odisha and Chhattisgarh on Thursday to resolve the long-running Mahanadi river water-sharing dispute. The two states jointly estimate the river's annual water availability at 62.36 MAF. A negotiated settlement is emerging, officials said.
