Amitabh Bachchan sells ₹2.4-cr worth stake in DP Wires, shares up 5%

DP Wires' shares climbed nearly 5% in early trade after Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan reduced his stake in the company through an open market transaction. Bachchan sold 1,23,622 shares, representing about 0.79% stake, at an average price of ₹200.84 per share, according to NSE bulk deal data. However, he soon bought back 41,566 shares at ₹199.90, amounting to ₹83.09 lakh.
