Amitabh Bachchan to miss National Awards ceremony due to fever

Amitabh Bachchan on Sunday said that since he is "down with fever" and "not allowed to travel", he will not be able to attend the 66th National Film Awards ceremony in New Delhi. He called his circumstances "unfortunate" and expressed regrets. Bachchan, who has completed 50 years in Bollywood, was supposed to receive the 50th Dadasaheb Phalke Award on Monday.
