Actor Satyajeet Puri recently recalled that the 1987 Bofors controversy affected the film 'Kaun Jeeta Kaun Haara' due to an intense public boycott against Amitabh Bachchan. The public pressure was over Bachchan's close association with PM Rajiv Gandhi during the ₹64-crore Bofors gun payoff scandal.
