Amma venture fund of ₹200 crore to fund Tamil Nadu startups

The Tamil Nadu government will soon make ₹200-crore 'Amma Venture Capital Fund' announced by former CM late J Jayalalithaa operational to boost entrepreneurship in the state. The fund will provide each selected startup with ₹1 crore in funding. The new fund will work in conjunction with an already launched ₹20-crore biotech incubation centre in Chennai.
